1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Gold Price Stack ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Gold Price Stack is a mobile application that displays current and historical gold and silver spot prices, allows users to track a personal portfolio of precious metal holdings, and provides optional price alert notifications. The app is intended for informational purposes only.

3. Not Financial Advice

The app is an informational tool. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Gold and silver prices displayed in the app are sourced from third-party data providers and may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete.

You should not make buying, selling, or investment decisions based solely on information provided by this app. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

4. Price Data Accuracy

While we strive to display accurate and timely price data, we make no guarantees regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of gold or silver prices
• The accuracy of currency conversion rates
• The availability of price data at any given time
• The accuracy of portfolio valuations calculated from this data

Prices are sourced from third-party APIs and may differ from prices quoted by dealers, exchanges, or other financial platforms. The app is not connected to any live trading system.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

5.1 Premium Subscription

The app offers an optional premium subscription ("Premium") that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

5.2 Billing

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

5.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.

5.4 Free Features

Core features — including current gold prices, basic price history charts, and a limited portfolio — are available without a subscription.

6. Portfolio and User Data

6.1 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the data you enter into the app, including portfolio holdings, photos, purchase prices, and sale records. The app is not a substitute for proper financial record-keeping.

6.2 Data Loss

While the app supports iCloud sync for premium users, we do not guarantee against data loss. You are encouraged to use the app's export features (CSV, PDF) to maintain independent backups of your portfolio data.

6.3 iCloud Sync

If enabled, portfolio data is synced through Apple's iCloud service. iCloud sync is subject to Apple's iCloud Terms of Service and storage limits. We are not responsible for sync failures, conflicts, or data loss caused by iCloud.

7. Push Notifications

Price alert notifications are delivered on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that notifications will be delivered promptly, reliably, or at all. Notifications depend on Apple's Push Notification service, network connectivity, device settings, and server availability.

You should not rely on price alert notifications for time-sensitive trading or investment decisions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, and trademarks in the app are the property of the developer or their respective owners. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app's servers or backend systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
• Use automated tools to access the app's API or scrape data
• Redistribute price data obtained from the app

10. Availability and Changes

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time without notice
• Change subscription pricing for future billing periods (existing subscribers will be notified by Apple)
• Update these terms at any time

Continued use of the app after changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
• We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from decisions made based on information displayed in the app.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.

13. Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services including Apple (App Store, iCloud, APNs) and third-party data providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
